The collection covers the history, techniques and equipment of photography, and the work of photographers especially those of South African interest.



Attached to the Bensusan Museum of Photography is the specialised photographic library with books and magazines on the work of photographers, photographic equipment, processes and techniques. It is a reference and lending library for the public and is open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10am to 2pm and Wednesdays 10am to 1pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Read more
